DPP10 단백질은 DPP4를 포함한 S9B 계열 DPP 세린 프로테아제와 구조적 유사성을 가지며, 선천 면역계 내 케모카인 처리에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
이 유전자는 복잡한 전사 스플라이싱 패턴을 보이며, 8개의 대체 첫 엑손 중 4개가 천식과 강하게 연관된 LD 블록 내에 위치합니다.
