Target Information
OAS2 유전자는 바이러스 감염에 대한 선천 면역 반응에 관여하는 2-5A synthetase 계열 단백질을 암호화합니다. 인터페론에 의해 유도되며, ATP를 이용해 2’,5’-oligoadenylates를 합성합니다. 이 분자들은 RNase L을 활성화하여 바이러스 RNA를 분해하고 복제를 억제합니다. 해당 유전자군의 세 멤버는 염색체 12에 클러스터 형태로 존재하며, 다양한 아이소폼을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사체가 보고되었습니다.
