Target Information
CCDC94 is a component of the spliceosome, catalyzing two sequential transesterification reactions for intron excision and exon ligation to form mature mRNA (PubMed:29301961). It stabilizes the spliceosome catalytic core and assists in docking of the branch helix into the active site. It may protect cells from TP53-dependent apoptosis following dsDNA damage through association with the PRP19-CD5L complex (PubMed:22952453). [UniProt]
