Target Information
Isoprene 생합성 경로는 세포에 콜레스테롤, 유비퀴논 및 다양한 비스테롤 대사산물을 공급합니다. Farnesylpyrophosphate synthetase(FDPS) 효소는 isopentenylpyrophosphate와 dimethylallyl pyrophosphate로부터 geranyl 및 farnesylpyrophosphate를 형성하는 반응을 촉매합니다. 쥐 간에서의 FDPS 활성 및 단백질 분석, 면역형광 및 면역전자현미경 연구 결과 FDPS가 주로 퍼옥시좀에 존재함이 확인되었습니다. Zellweger 증후군 및 신생아 부신백질이영양증 환자의 간 조직에서는 FDPS 활성이 감소하고 isoprenoid 합성이 저하되어 있습니다.
