Target Information
Somatostatin은 단일 preproprotein으로부터 절단되어 생성되는 14 및 28 아미노산 형태의 활성 호르몬으로, 체내 여러 조직에서 발현됩니다. 이 호르몬은 고친화성 G-단백질 결합 수용체에 결합하여 여러 2차 호르몬의 분비를 억제하며, 성장호르몬, 갑상선자극호르몬 및 위장관 호르몬을 포함한 내분비계의 주요 조절자 역할을 합니다. 또한 중추신경계의 신경전달 및 정상 및 종양 세포의 증식에도 영향을 미칩니다.
