Target Information
BACH2 (BTB and CNC homolog 2) is a transcriptional regulator that can act as both a repressor and activator.
It binds to Maf recognition elements (MARE) and induces apoptosis in response to oxidative stress by repressing the anti-apoptotic factor HMOX1.
