RPS6KB1 (p70S6K)는 serine/threonine kinase로, S6 ribosomal protein의 여러 잔기를 인산화합니다. 이 단백질은 주로 세포질에 존재하며, 성장 인자에 의해 조절되는 세포 증식, 면역 반응, 조직 복구 등 다양한 세포 기능에 필수적입니다.
