Target Information
The NOA1/C4orf14 protein is a nuclear-encoded GTPase functioning in the mitochondrion. After translation, it is imported into the nucleus, then into the nucleolus, and subsequently exported to the mitochondrion. This protein is essential for oxygen-dependent regulation of mitochondrial respiratory complexes and mitochondrial protein synthesis.
