Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the keratin family, which consists of intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells. Keratins are divided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. Type I cytokeratins are acidic proteins arranged in heterotypic pairs. This cytokeratin is a major protein of mature enterocytes and goblet cells, specifically expressed in gastric and intestinal mucosa. Type I cytokeratin genes are clustered on chromosome 17q12–q21.
