Target Information
Fatty acid synthase (FASN)는 다기능 단백질로, NADPH 존재하에서 acetyl-CoA와 malonyl-CoA로부터 palmitate를 합성하여 장쇄 포화지방산을 생성합니다. 일부 암 세포주에서는 FASN 단백질이 estrogen receptor-alpha (ER-alpha)와 융합되어 N-말단의 FAS가 ER-alpha의 C-말단과 결합된 형태로 존재하기도 합니다.
