Target Information
Acyl-CoA thioesterases are enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of acyl-CoAs to free fatty acids and CoASH, regulating intracellular levels of these molecules. ACOT8 may mediate Nef-induced down-regulation of CD4 and be involved in metabolic regulation of peroxisome proliferation.
