For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of various hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. These cytosolic enzymes differ in tissue distribution and substrate specificity.
The SULT1A3 gene encodes a phenol sulfotransferase with thermolabile enzyme activity. Four sulfotransferase genes are located on the p arm of chromosome 16; this gene and SULT1A4 arose from a segmental duplication. Exons of this gene overlap with those of a gene encoding a protein with GIY-YIG domains (GIYD1). Multiple alternatively spliced variants encoding the same protein have been described.
