Target Information
MACC1 (Metastasis Associated in Colon Cancer 1)은 HGF-HGF receptor (MET) 경로의 주요 조절 인자로, 세포 성장, 상피-간엽 전이, 혈관신생, 세포 이동성, 침윤성 및 전이에 관여합니다.
MACC1 단백질은 ZU5, SH3, 두 개의 C-말단 death domain (DD)으로 구성되어 있습니다.
악성 조직(모든 단계의 대장암, 간 및 폐 전이)에서 정상 조직이나 선종에 비해 MACC1 발현이 유의하게 증가함이 보고되었습니다.
MACC1은 대장암 전이의 조기 및 중요한 예후 지표로, 나이, 성별, 종양 침윤, 림프절 상태, 림프관 침범과 무관하게 작용합니다.
또한 MET 수용체와의 신호 전달 및 세포자멸사(apoptosis)를 연결하며, 대장암 치료의 잠재적 표적이 될 수 있습니다.
MACC1의 isoform은 최소 두 가지가 알려져 있습니다.
