This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to prevent contamination.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Type I Interferons (IFN-alpha/beta) are produced primarily in response to viral infection by natural IFN-producing cells (IPCs) as part of the host immune defense mechanism. IFNs also inhibit tumor development.
IFN-beta binding activates tyrosine kinases Jak1 and Tyk2, leading to phosphorylation of STAT transcription factors and induction of immune response genes. Members of the toll-like receptor (TLR) family also stimulate IFN-beta production.
Clinically, IFN-beta is used for treatment of tumors, infections, and multiple sclerosis.
