Target Information
MTAP 유전자는 polyamine 대사에서 중요한 효소를 암호화하며, adenine과 methionine의 salvage 경로에 관여합니다. 이 유전자는 종양 억제 유전자 p16과 함께 결실되는 경우가 많아 여러 암에서 결핍되어 있습니다. 다양한 alternative splicing 변이체가 보고되었으나, 그 전체 길이는 완전히 규명되지 않았습니다.
