Target Information
Protocadherins는 칼슘 의존성 세포-세포 접착 분자인 cadherin family 중 가장 큰 그룹을 형성합니다. Protocadherin 12 (PCDH12)는 마우스 심장 미세혈관 내피세포 RNA의 PCR 스크리닝을 통해 처음 확인되었으며, 폐와 신장 등 고혈관화 기관 및 태반의 glycogen-rich trophoblasts에서 강하게 발현됩니다. PCDH12 결핍 마우스는 생존 가능하고 번식 가능하지만, 태반 및 배아 크기가 감소합니다. 추가 연구에서는 조직 형태형성, 혈관 생성, 세포-기질 접착, 이동, 면역 반응, 크로마틴 리모델링에 관련된 2,289개의 유전자 발현 변화가 확인되었습니다.
