THAP3 (THAP domain-containing protein 3)는 THAP-type zinc finger를 포함하는 239 아미노산 단백질로, 세 가지 alternative splicing isoform으로 존재합니다. THAP3 유전자는 약 10,721 염기를 포함하며 인간 염색체 1p36.31에 위치합니다. 염색체 1은 약 2억 6천만 염기쌍으로 구성되어 있으며 전체 인간 유전체의 약 8%를 차지합니다.
