Target Information
Transcription coactivator of nuclear receptors that functions with CBP-p300 and SRC-1. Plays a key role in forming distinct coactivator complexes under varying cellular conditions. Involved in transactivation of NF-kappa-B, SRF, and AP1, and mediates transrepression between nuclear receptors and AP1 or NF-kappa-B. Also contributes to androgen receptor transactivation and testicular function.
