Product Specific Information
- For IHC (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: Heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
This gene encodes a melanosomal enzyme belonging to the tyrosinase family, which plays an important role in the melanin biosynthetic pathway.
Defects in this gene cause rufous oculocutaneous albinism and oculocutaneous albinism type III.
