Monoclonal antibody Cr24.1 reacts with human CD355 (CRTAM), also known as Class-I MHC-restricted T-cell-associated molecule.
CD355 exists as a homodimer or forms a heterodimer with its ligand Necl-2. It is transiently expressed by activated NK, NKT, γδ T, and CD8+ T cells, and also by Purkinje neurons.

Human CD355 is involved in:

• Immunosurveillance of cancer cells
• γδ T cell survival
• Cell polarity and lymphocyte retention in lymph nodes
• Promotion of cytotoxicity in NK cells
• IFN-γ secretion from CD8+ T cells

Cr24.1 exhibits antagonist activity and has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of stimulated normal human peripheral blood cells.
Recommended use: 5 µL (1 µg) per test in a final volume of 100 µL.
Applicable for 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

The CRTAM gene is upregulated in CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells, encoding a type I transmembrane protein with V and C1-like Ig domains.
