Target Information
Macro H2A.2는 일부 뉴클레오솜에서 기존 H2A를 대체하는 변이 히스톤으로, 전사 억제에 관여합니다.
뉴클레오솜은 DNA를 감싸고 응축시켜 전사, 복제, 수선 과정에서 DNA 접근성을 조절합니다.
히스톤의 다양한 번역 후 수정(post-translational modification)과 뉴클레오솜 재구성은 유전자 발현 조절과 염색체 안정성 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
Macro H2A.2는 안정적인 X 염색체 불활성화에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
