Target Information
PFKFB3 유전자는 fructose-2,6-bisphosphate의 합성과 분해를 모두 조절하는 이중 기능 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase 활성을 통해 F2,6BP를 합성하고, fructose-2,6-biphosphatase 활성을 통해 이를 분해합니다. 세포 주기 진행과 세포사멸 억제에 필수적이며, cyclin-dependent kinase 1의 조절자로 작용하여 포도당 대사와 종양 세포의 증식 및 생존을 연결합니다. 다양한 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
