Target Information
T-cell activation requires a costimulatory signal from receptors such as CD28, which interact with B7-1 (CD80) and B7-2 (CD86) on antigen-presenting cells. CD28 costimulation induces IL2 transcription and stabilizes IL2 through MAPK activation (ERK, JNK), forming AP1 transcription factor. DUSP14 acts as a negative regulator of CD28 signaling.
