Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of ~1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
LPL (Lipoprotein Lipase) is expressed in heart, muscle, and adipose tissue. It functions as a homodimer with dual roles as a triglyceride hydrolase and a ligand/bridging factor for receptor-mediated lipoprotein uptake.
Severe mutations in LPL cause type I hyperlipoproteinemia, while milder mutations are associated with various lipoprotein metabolism disorders.
