Target Information
Ki-67는 세포 주기 동안 다양한 단계에서 발현되는 핵 단백질로, 특히 G1, S, G2 및 M 단계에서 높은 발현을 보입니다. 이 단백질은 forkhead associated domain (FHA)을 통해 염색질과 결합하며, perichromosomal layer, centromeric heterochromatin 및 nucleolus에 존재합니다.
Ki-67는 세포 증식 마커로 널리 사용되며, G0 단계에서는 검출되지 않고 G1부터 유사분열까지 지속적으로 증가합니다.
Ki-67 항체는 종양 조직에서 세포 성장 분율을 평가하는 데 유용하며, 저 Ki-67 지수는 저등급 종양과 강한 상관관계를 가집니다.
신경세포의 증식 및 세포 주기 연구에서도 일반적으로 사용됩니다.
