The GeneChip™ Eukaryotic Poly-A RNA Control Kit is used with the Prokaryotic Target Labeling Assay and the Prokaryotic Target Labeling Assay for 3expression studies with prokaryotic GeneChip Brand Arrays. The assays utilize reverse transcriptase and random hexamer primers to produce DNA complementary to the RNA. The cDNA products are then fragmented by DNase I and labeled with terminal transferase and biotinylated GeneChip DNA Labeling Reagent at the 3 termini.

Functionally tested on GeneChip Brand Arrays, we recommend the Prokaryotic Target Labeling Assay and associated reagents for use in prokaryotic gene expression studies.
