Target Information
HYOU1는 heat shock protein 70 계열에 속하며, 단백질 접힘 및 분비에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 단백질 발현 억제 시 세포사멸이 가속화되어 저산소 유도 세포 손상에 대한 보호 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 유방암 등 다양한 종양에서 발현이 증가하며, 종양 침습성과 관련이 있습니다. 신호 펩타이드가 결여된 형태로 존재하며, 세포질 내에서 housekeeping 기능을 수행하는 것으로 생각됩니다. 쥐 모델에서는 C-말단 서열을 통해 ER에, N-말단 신호를 통해 미토콘드리아에 위치합니다.
