Target Information
Lysosome-associated membrane protein 5 (LAMP5)는 LAMP 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, 다른 LAMP 단백질들과 달리 발현이 제한적입니다. BAD-LAMP(Brain and Dendritic cell-associated LAMP-like molecule)로도 알려져 있으며, 인간에서는 출생 후 뉴런과 비활성화된 형질세포형 수지상세포(plasmacytoid dendritic cells)에서 발현됩니다. 뉴런에서는 세포내 소포에 위치하며, 수상돌기 내 특정 미세영역에 분포하여 엔도사이토시스에 관여할 수 있습니다. 또한 BAD-LAMP는 수지상세포의 ER-Golgi intermediate compartment(ERGIC)에 존재하며, TLR 활성화 시 소실됩니다.
