Product Specific Information

For maximum recovery, please spin prior to use. Unless noted below, aliquots of the 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes of kinase are not recommended as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted. For larger sizes, reduce freeze/thaws by preparing aliquots; aliquots below 20 µL are not recommended. Do not store kinase diluted. If properly stored at -80°C, this product is guaranteed for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Target Information

RPS6KA3 (RSK2) is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates multiple cellular processes, including transcription, adhesion, growth, survival, and proliferation. It contains two non-identical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the MAPK signaling pathway. Activity of this protein is implicated in cell growth and differentiation control. Mutations in the RPS6KA3 gene are associated with Coffin-Lowry syndrome (CLS).
