Target Information
STAT1 (signal transducers and activators of transcription 1)는 STAT 계열 전사 인자 중 하나로, interferon-alpha, interferon-gamma, EGF, PDGF, IL6 등에 의해 활성화됩니다. 세포 성장, apoptosis, 면역 반응, 지질 대사 관련 유전자 발현을 조절하며, 다양한 세포 자극 및 병원체 노출에 대한 세포 생존성 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. STAT1 유전자는 염색체 2에 위치하며, JAK tyrosine kinase에 의해 인산화된 후 핵으로 이동하여 여러 유전자의 전사를 조절합니다. STAT1, STAT3, STAT5a, STAT5b는 다양한 리간드에 의해 활성화되며, IFN 계열(IFN-Alpha, IFN-Beta, IFN-gamma, IL-10), gp130 계열(IL-6, IL-11, LIF, CNTF, G-CSF), 수용체 tyrosine kinase(EGF, PDGF, CSF-1) 등의 신호에 반응합니다. 두 가지 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 서로 다른 isoform을 인코딩합니다.
