The Human TIE-2 Simplex ProcartaPlex™ Kit measures TIE-2 protein and is designed to be combinable with other Simplex kits to create custom multiplex panels utilizing Luminex™ xMAP technology for protein detection and quantitation.
When combining multiple Simplex kits (not using a pre-configured Multiplex Panel), only one buffer kit (sold separately) is needed per assay plate regardless of plex size.

About ProcartaPlex Assays for the Luminex Platform

ProcartaPlex immunoassays are based on sandwich ELISA principles, using two highly specific antibodies binding to different epitopes of one protein to quantify multiple protein targets simultaneously using a Luminex instrument.
These multiplex assays require as little as 25 μL of plasma or serum, or 50 μL of cell culture supernatant, and deliver analyzed results within four hours.

기술 설명

ProcartaPlex assays utilize Luminex xMAP (multianalyte profiling) technology for the simultaneous detection and quantitation of up to 80 protein targets in a single sample.
Luminex beads are internally dyed with specific proportions of red and infrared fluorophores to create unique spectral signatures identifiable by Luminex detection systems (e.g., Luminex 200, FLEXMAP 3D, MAGPIX).

Each bead is conjugated with antibodies specific to a single target protein. Bound proteins are detected using biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin–R-phycoerythrin (RPE).
Unlike traditional ELISA, the capture antibody in ProcartaPlex assays is bead-conjugated, allowing free-floating reactions and enhanced multiplexing efficiency.
Detection is achieved using dual-laser systems to distinguish bead signatures and quantify fluorescence proportional to protein concentration.

ProcartaPlex multiplex panels are available across six species: human, mouse, rat, nonhuman primate, porcine, and canine.
