Thermo Fisher Scientific iBind™ Western Device
The iBind™ Western Device is an automated western blot processing system that performs every step — from blocking to washing to antibody incubation — using Sequential Lateral Flow (SLF) technology.
This allows for the timed release and flow of reagents and antibodies across the membrane without the need for external power sources, shakers, or trays.
The iBind Western Device is designed to work exclusively with:
- iBind Cards
- iBind Solution Kit
- iBind Fluorescent Detection (FD) Solution Kit
Each solution is released from the device wells to the iBind Card via SLF over approximately 2.5 hours, ensuring consistent reagent flow and enhanced antigen–antibody interactions. The glass fiber matrix in the card provides homogeneous flow, improving reproducibility compared to manual methods.
