Human IgG is purified from pooled normal human serum. The protein concentration is 5.0 mg/mL based on an E (1%) = 14.0 at 280 nm.
Target Information
Human IgG, also known as human immunoglobulin G, is an antibody produced by the immune system in response to antigens. It is the most abundant immunoglobulin in the blood and plays a key role in defense against pathogens. IgG binds to specific antigens and promotes their clearance through mechanisms such as phagocytosis and complement activation. It also participates in antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and neutralization of toxins.
Human IgG can be used in research to study immune responses and to develop diagnostic tests and therapeutic interventions for infectious and autoimmune diseases.
