Product Specific Information
Description:
The HI30 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of human CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except circulating erythrocytes and platelets. The cytoplasmic domain exhibits tyrosine phosphatase activity, playing a key role in lymphocyte activation.
Applications Reported:
This antibody is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and validated for flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.
Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (100 µL total volume).
Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Optical Properties:
Excitation: 488 nm
Emission: 695 nm
Laser: Blue Laser
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It is absent in non-hematopoietic cells and tissues. CD45 regulates Src-family kinases, lymphocyte development, and antigen receptor signaling. Multiple isoforms arise from alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains. CD45 isoforms influence membrane localization and immune signaling, and play roles in apoptosis, integrin signaling, and cytokine receptor regulation.
