Target Information
Pejvakin은 청각 경로 뉴런의 활성에 필수적인 단백질입니다. PJVK 유전자의 결함은 비증후군성 감각신경성 난청(DFNB59)의 원인이 됩니다. DFNB59는 정상적인 이음향 방출을 보이지만 청각뇌간반응이 결여되거나 비정상적인 감각신경성 청각장애(청각신경병증 또는 청각 비동기화)의 형태를 띱니다. 이러한 청각신경병증은 내유모세포, 내유모세포와 와우신경 가지의 연결, 와우신경 자체 또는 뇌간의 청각 경로 부위의 병변에 의해 발생합니다.
‘Pejvak’은 페르시아어로 ‘메아리’를 의미합니다.
