Combines Male Specificity with Robust Performance

Mixtures of body fluids and/or tissues from males and females are common in sexual assault and violent crime investigations. These samples often contain trace male DNA within a large amount of female DNA. Standard autosomal STR analysis may fail to detect minor male contributors, while the Yfiler kit can detect male DNA at ratios lower than 1:1000.
