Target Information

FBXO25 is a member of the F-box protein family, characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif, the F-box. F-box proteins are subunits of the SCF (SKP1–Cullin–F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex, which mediates phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination. The F-box proteins are divided into three classes:

• Fbws: containing WD-40 domains
• Fbls: containing leucine-rich repeats
• Fbxs: containing various protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs

FBXO25 belongs to the Fbxs class.
