Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
LYVE1 is a major receptor for hyaluronan (HA) on lymph vessel walls. It encodes a 322-residue type I integral membrane glycoprotein, sharing 41% similarity with the CD44 HA receptor.
LYVE1 binds both soluble and immobilized HA and is localized exclusively on lymphatic endothelium, absent from blood vessels. It serves as a specific marker for lymphatic vessels and plays a role in regulating leukocyte and tumor cell trafficking to lymph nodes.
LYVE1 dysfunction has been associated with Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome.
Other lymphatic endothelium markers include LYVE1, PALE, VEGFR3, and podoplanin.
