Target Information
Angiopoietins are members of the vascular endothelial growth factor family and are specific for vascular endothelium. Angiopoietin-1, -2, and -4 are involved in blood vessel formation. The ANGPTL2 protein is widely expressed in adult tissues, especially in highly vascularized organs, and functions as a secretory protein rather than an endothelial cell mitogen in vitro.
