For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Secretory carrier membrane proteins (SCAMPs) are components of post-Golgi membranes and are implicated in membrane trafficking.
In fibroblasts, SCAMPs localize to compartments involved in receptor recycling and endocytosis, while in neurons they associate with synaptic vesicles and secretion granules.
SCAMPs contain four transmembrane regions and a cytoplasmic tail. Of the five known SCAMPs, SCAMPs 1–3 have cytoplasmic N-terminal NPF repeats that interact with EH domain proteins involved in vesicle budding. SCAMPs 4 and 5 lack these repeats.
SCAMPs 1–4 are ubiquitously expressed, whereas SCAMP 5 expression is restricted to the brain and increases during synaptic maturation.
