This anti-DDK (FLAG) antibody recognizes both N-terminus and C-terminus DDK tags. It is recommended for Western blot only.
Target Information
DYKDDDDK tag, also known as FLAG tag, is a short peptide sequence used for protein purification, detection, and localization.
The tag consists of eight amino acids: Asp–Tyr–Lys–Asp–Asp–Asp–Asp–Lys.
It can be fused to the N- or C-terminus of a protein, enabling identification and isolation using anti-FLAG antibodies.
Widely used in molecular biology and biochemistry research for:
- Protein-protein interaction studies
- Protein expression analysis
- Protein localization studies
The FLAG tag is highly hydrophilic, minimizing protein denaturation or inactivation.
