This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates.

Target Information
The EPDR1 gene encodes a type II transmembrane protein similar to protocadherins and ependymins, potentially involved in calcium-dependent cell adhesion. This protein is glycosylated, and the mouse ortholog is localized to the lysosome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, and a related pseudogene exists on chromosome 8.
