Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
HDAC6 is responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4).
Histone deacetylation acts as a tag for epigenetic repression and plays a vital role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental processes.
HDAC6 also plays a central role in microtubule-dependent cell motility through the deacetylation of tubulin.
