Target Information
The TSKS (testis-specific kinase substrate) gene encodes a putative serine/threonine kinase substrate. It is the human homolog of the mouse testis-specific serine kinase substrate gene. TSKS shows high expression levels exclusively in human testicular tissue. Expression is downregulated in cancerous testicular tissue compared to normal tissue, suggesting a role in testicular physiology, particularly in spermatogenesis or spermiogenesis.
