Target Information
RAB21은 Ras 초과패밀리의 소형 GTP 결합 단백질 유전자 하위군에 속하며, 세포 내 소포 이동에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 비극성 Caco-2 세포에서는 일반적인 소포체(ER) 유사 위치에 존재하며, 극성 세포에서는 꼭대기 소포에 위치합니다. RAB21은 인테그린 서브유닛과 결합하여 RAB5/RAB21 엔도솜을 통한 수용체 내재화에 관여합니다. 또한 GTPase 활성화 단백질 p120RasGAP은 RAB21과 경쟁적으로 인테그린 α-테일의 결합 부위에 작용하여 세포 이동성을 조절합니다.
