Target Information

LRFN5는 신경 조직에서 높게 발현되는 5가지 막관통 당단백질 중 하나입니다. LRFN 단백질은 leucine-rich repeat (LRR), immunoglobulin-like (Ig), fibronectin type III (Fn), transmembrane domain을 포함하는 구조로, Slitrk 단백질군과 유사한 LRR-Ig-Fn 초단백질군에 속합니다. LRFN1, -3, -4 mRNA는 배아 신경세포에서 발현되며, LRFN2와 LRFN5는 성숙한 세포에서 주로 발현됩니다. LRFN1, -2, -4는 postsynaptic PSD95의 PDZ 도메인과 결합하여 PSD95를 세포 주변부로 재분배시킵니다. 이러한 LRFN 단백질은 척추동물의 신경계 발달 및 기능 유지에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 제안됩니다.
