Product Specific Information
This secondary antibody is designed for fluorescent Western blot detection using near-infrared fluorescence instruments. It enables multi-color and multiplexing detection when used with other antibodies conjugated to compatible Alexa Fluor™ dyes and wavelengths.
It is also suitable for immunofluorescent and fluorescent imaging applications with appropriate excitation and detection systems.
This antibody exhibits minimal cross-reactivity to bovine, chicken, goat, guinea pig, hamster, horse, human, rabbit, rat, and sheep serum proteins.
Product is shipped at room temperature.
Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit targets.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility across detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and offer enhanced sensitivity via signal amplification.
Typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, then purified and modified (immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
