Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a transforming protein related to Rho-specific exchange factors and yeast cell cycle regulators. Its expression increases with the onset of DNA synthesis and remains high during G2 and M phases. In situ hybridization analysis shows elevated expression in mitotic cells of regenerating liver, suggesting a role in cytokinesis regulation during liver regeneration.
