Target Information
NOD2는 apoptosis 조절 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, caspase recruitment-domain, Apaf-1, NOD1을 포함합니다.
두 개의 N-terminal CARDs, nucleotide binding domain (NBD), 다수의 C-terminal leucine-rich repeats (LRRs)를 가지고 있습니다.
NOD2는 주로 단핵구(monocytes)에서 발현되며, NF-kappaB 조절, 세포 내 세균 lipopolysaccharide 수용체 역할, 염증성 장질환(IBD) 및 크론병(Crohn’s disease)에 관여합니다.
