Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
ROR gamma is a 560 amino acid DNA-binding transcription factor belonging to the ROR/RZR orphan nuclear receptor subfamily. It is a ligand-activated transcription factor essential for lymphoid organogenesis (lymph nodes and Peyer’s patches) and plays a regulatory role in apoptosis during thymopoiesis.
ROR gamma inhibits expression of Fas ligand and IL2, and directs differentiation of proinflammatory IL-17⁺ T helper cells. It shares 50–51% sequence identity with RORA and RORB, and is 88% identical to mouse ROR gamma. Highly expressed in skeletal muscle and at lower levels in various other tissues.
